Nowadays, Many changes occur in the education system as part of a series of changes. One of those changes is a proposal that has been made by the Minister of Education that the school year begin in the middle of August, instead of at the beginning of September, and that there be a two-week break between semesters. I agree with his proposal.
The summer break is important to the students and allows them to relax, hang out, etc' but it is too long. In Augost, the second month of the vacation, students get bored and do a lot of foolish things. According to a study that has been conduct by police officers, the rate of violence among youth is 2 times higher during summer vacation.
In adittion, a vacation between semesters will give the studants time to rest after the effort they invested in the first semester, and go back to school with renewed strength. in addition, it will give teachers time to rest, and think about improvements in their work.
To conclude, I think the school year should begin in the middle of August, instead of at the beginning of September, because the students get bored and do foolish things. Moreover, after the whole semester, students and teachers feel tired, so the break between the semesters will refresh their minds.
